Your new role
As a valued member of our Community Facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of Council buildings and public spaces across the Rockhampton Region. In this casual position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services that support the health and wellbeing of our community.
Your day-to-day duties will include a variety of cleaning tasks such as sanitising facilities, maintaining floors, managing waste, and ensuring equipment is clean and operational. You’ll also be entrusted with securing premises during your shifts and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding hygiene standards. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, contributing to a clean and welcoming environment for all facility users.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

- Knowledge and experience with cleaning practices and processes across domestic and commercial settings.
