Are you ready to grow your career from the ground up? Rockhampton Regional Council is offering three exciting Gardener Trainee opportunities across our Parks teams.
As a Trainee Gardener, you’ll gain hands on experience in horticulture and landscape maintenance while working towards a Certificate II in Horticulture or Certificate II in Sports Turf Management. Over the 12 month, Fixed Term Full Time traineeship, you’ll learn to operate small machinery and hand tools, maintain public green spaces, and contribute to the beautification of our community, all under the guidance of experienced and supportive Council teams.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must be
- Aged 15 years or older and no longer at school.
- Able to meet citizen, residency, and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.
- In possession of a C Class Driver Licence (Minimum Provisional).
- Able to complete a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
