- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $72,271 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 4 + Site Allowance) + Superannuation

Your new role
Join our passionate Parks team in Mount Morgan where you’ll help maintain and enhance the region’s parks, gardens, and open spaces. On a day to day basis you will complete general maintenance of parks, gardens, reserves, road reserves and streetscapes, including but not limited to mowing, whipper snipping weeding, mulching, blowing, spraying, irrigation, planting trees and shrubs and labouring. You’ll use your horticultural knowledge to keep our community spaces vibrant, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated experience in horticulture and open space maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain small machinery including but not limited to tractors, mowers, brush cutters, blowers and other plant.
- A motivated, proactive, self-starter with a passion to deliver quality horticulture works.
- Someone who enjoys and is capable of physical and outdoor work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to carry out your duties in a safe manner whilst ensuring the safety of your team members and public.

Application Criteria
- Demonstrated work experience within a horticultural environment and passion to deliver quality work.
- Knowledge and experience with safe operation of mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers, blowers and adhering to WHS procedures.
- A strong team player that demonstrates positive attitude and can work independently.
