This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Surveying), or Associate Diploma in Engineering (Surveying), or equivalent qualifications relevant to the duties of the position.
  • Ability to provide a range of survey services, including feature surveys, construction set-out, as-constructed surveys, and survey control.
  • Proficiency in terrain modelling and Computer Aided Drafting software.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and have the ability to organise your time effectively to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work together with others to achieve common goals both within the immediate team and teams across Council.

What you need to do next

Application Criteria  

  • Tertiary-qualification in Surveying with proven experience in surveying roads, footpaths, stormwater systems, parks, open spaces and public utilities, aligned with local government infrastructure standards.
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments, including total station, RTK, and digital level.
  • Proficiency in the use of terrain modelling software and computer aided drafting software.
  • Ability to interpret and produce precise survey documentation, including detailed plans, eports, and digital models to support engineering design and asset management.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and support broader project teams in delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
