  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $71,175 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 3 + Site) + Superannuation

Our Urban Operations team are seeking an experienced and eager Labourer to help deliver projects across the Rockhampton Region. In this role you’ll take on a variety of tasks, from civil construction maintenance to general labouring duties. Your work will include pipe laying, concreting, and other hands-on activities that keep our city moving forward.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  • Hands on experience in civil construction and maintenance, including tasks such as pipe laying, concreting and general labouring duties.
  • A proactive and reliable team player who communicates effectively and works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety standards and reporting processes, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Positive attitude with a strong sense of pride in delivering quality work and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Relevant qualifications, tickets, and licences such as a Construction White Card, valid driver’s licence (HR licence highly regarded), and plant operation tickets (e.g., roller, excavator, skid steer).
