This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- A qualified, safety focused Electrician with strong experience in electrical maintenance, installations and fault finding across complex assets.
- Solid skills in working with process control systems, communications networks, electrical test equipment and interpreting technical plans.
- A motivated problem solver who can work independently, manage priorities and complete accurate documentation to a high standard
- A great team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and upholding Council’s values.
- Someone who holds the required trade qualifications and safety certifications, and is ready to meet physical and compliance requirements, including participation in the on call roster.

Application Criteria
- Possession of the required electrical trade qualifications and safety certifications, including a current Queensland Electrician Licence, CPR/LVR and White Card. Plus any other relevant licences.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, installations and fault finding across complex infrastructure, with the ability to use electrical test equipment
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multi disciplined team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and effective time management.
- Demonstrated compliance and commitment to workplace safety, with the ability to proactively identify and manage risks to ensure all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
