Labourer

  • Permanent Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $71,709 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 3 + Site) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

Your new role

Join our Urban Operations team and play a hands-on role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps Rockhampton moving. As part of a skilled Civil Operations crew, you’ll work outdoors on a wide variety of projects including road construction, stormwater and drainage works, concreting and general civil maintenance. No two days are the same, and you’ll be supported by a safety-first team environment where your contribution makes a real difference to the community.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check)

What we are looking for

  • Civil construction labouring experience or similar.
  • Reliable team player who is willing to learn and undertake all labouring aspects.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to contribute to and uphold Council’s Safety-First culture.
  • A positive attitude who takes pride in the work they do.
