Supervisor Asset Maintenance and Scheduling

- Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $102,311 – $106, 576 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation

Your new role
Are you a strategic maintenance professional who thrives on planning, precision and people leadership? Council is seeking an experienced Supervisor Asset Maintenance Scheduling to lead the planning and coordination of maintenance activities that keep our community assets safe, reliable and performing at their best.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the end to end Work Management Process, driving best practice maintenance planning, scheduling and asset data integrity through the R1 system. You’ll lead and mentor a skilled team, work closely with managers and coordinators, and ensure maintenance programs are delivered efficiently, safely and within budget.
This is more than scheduling - it’s about shaping how Council maintains and invests in its assets.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in asset maintenance management and work scheduling
- Strong leadership capability with a collaborative, improvement focused mindset
- High level of financial and budget management knowledge
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements, maintenance standards and procurement practices
- Confidence working across CMMS platforms, R1, and corporate systems
- A qualification in Asset or Maintenance Management (or significant equivalent experience)

Application Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Asset or Maintenance Management or a related discipline, or significant equivalent experience in a similar maintenance scheduling and financially administrative role.
- Proven experience in asset maintenance management and work scheduling, including effective use of CMMS platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience supervising and mentoring teams and driving continuous improvement outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure financial accuracy in an operational environment.
