Labourer

  • Permanent Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9-day fortnight
  • $71,709 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 3 + Site Allowance) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

Our Urban Operations team is looking for a motivated Labourer to help deliver projects across the Rockhampton Region. You’ll be hands-on with civil maintenance crews doing tasks like pipe laying, concreting, line marking and general labouring – no two days are the same!

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

 

What we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience in civil construction and maintenance, including general labouring, pipe laying, and concreting
  • Reliable team player with strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and reporting requirements
  • Positive attitude with pride in quality work and customer service
  • Relevant licences and tickets, including White Card, driver’s licence MR required, HR (desirable), and plant tickets
  • Ability to work outside of standard operational hours (subject to change)

  • Demonstrated experience in a civil construction or maintenance role with relevant examples (Maintenance experience highly desirable).
