- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $71,709 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 3 + Site Allowance) + Superannuation
- Location – Rockhampton
Your new role
Be part of the team that builds and maintains what matters.
You’ll perform a wide range of labouring tasks supporting Council’s Urban Operations, including pipe installation, road repairs, concreting, and operating vehicles, and tools. Working within a multi-skilled team, you’ll help build and maintain Council assets to required standards, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated Civil construction and maintenance labouring experience.
- Team player who can work independently, show accountability and take initiative.
- Represent Council with professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to contribute to and uphold Council’s Safety-First culture.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the safe use of small machinery and hand tools
