- Monday to Thursday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 8 day fortnight
- $79, 459 - $84,978 per annum pro rata (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
An opportunity has become available for a driven and reliable individual to join the Procurement and Logistics team. The Assistant Materials Officer will assist co-workers in the daily logistics and inventory management operations of the materials centre.
Your communication skills will allow you to successfully engage with internal customers on product options and alternatives relevant to their operations.
Your knowledge of procedures, statutory requirements and applicable standards in relation to purchasing, inventory and warehouse operations will ensure your success in the role.

This position is primarily based in Gracemere however may be required to work at our store’s locations at Fitzroy River Water or Dooley Street Depot in Rockhampton.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

- Current high risk forklift licence (LF)

Application Criteria
- Certificate III in Warehousing Operations and/or experience within a purchasing, inventory and warehouse operations or similar environment.
- High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) and knowledge of safe working requirements within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders with negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills to ensure timeframes are met.
