Construction / Plumber / Drainer – Team Leader

  • Potential earnings up to $125,000 per annum, including on-call participation and overtime opportunities (actual earnings will vary based on availability and hours worked).
  • LGIA Stream C BT Level 2/3 (Licenced Plumber/Drainer) + Site + Tool + Leading Hand Allowance 3 - $90,670 - $93,071
  • LGIA Stream B (Construction Experience) Level 6 + Site + Leading Hand Allowance 2 - $81,303
  • Permanent / Full Time
  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight 

Your new role

Fitzroy River Water is looking for a practical, hands-on Team Leader to help deliver essential water and wastewater projects across the Rockhampton region.

If you have experience in plumbing, drainage, pipelaying or civil construction and enjoy leading a crew to get the job done safely and well - we’d like to hear from you. A trade qualification is desirable, but not essential.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

  • Experience working with water and wastewater systems, including plumbing, drainage, pipelaying or civil construction.
  • Ability to lead a crew on site and get quality work done.
  • Good organisation and time management
