Truck Driver / Labourer

  • Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, 9 day fortnight
  • $74,957 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation

Bring your heavy vehicle skills to a role where you'll help deliver essential rural road works across the region.

Hit the road in a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Working across rural road maintenance and construction projects, you'll help keep local roads safe, reliable and connected

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  • Current HR (Manual) Licence and white card with the ability and experience to safely operate heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Experience in civil construction, road maintenance or labouring, with a willingness to work outdoors in a hands-on environment.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety, with the ability to follow procedures and contribute to a safe team culture.
  • A reliable team player who communicates well, works collaboratively and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for the community.

  • Demonstrated experience in road maintenance, labouring and heavy vehicle operation, supported by relevant licences and qualifications.

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities and contribute positively to team outcomes
