Team Leader (Concreter/Formsetter)

- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $85,343 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 6 + Site Allowance + Leading Hand Allowance 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
Step into a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead and inspire a crew delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects that support the community every day.
You will coordinate construction and maintenance activities, drive high-quality workmanship and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. With a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, you'll play a key role in delivering durable infrastructure and successful project outcomes. This is an opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills and commitment to excellence while making a tangible impact across the region.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Extensive experience in structural concrete construction, including form setting and steel reinforcement placement.
- Extensive experience in concrete finishing, with experience in exposed aggregate essential.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coordinate and support a crew to achieve safe and efficient project outcomes.
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing operational needs.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all work meets specifications, quality standards and compliance requirements.
- A positive team-focused attitude with strong communication skills and a commitment to building productive relationships with colleagues, supervisors and the community.
